The
Foley Nursing Center is an 87-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation care center. In December of 2008, a campus-wide remodel project came to completion. The majority of remodeling affected the Foley Nursing Center. When you walk through our front door we hope you experience feelings of warmth and caring from your surroundings and from the smiles of our employees.
The
Transitional Care Wing provides aggressive rehabilitation with Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy. The goal is to return home after recovering. Most short-term patients arrive from the hospital after a surgery or illness.
The Transitional Care Wing has ten, furnished and private rooms. These rooms also include complimentary cable television, local telephone service and wireless internet. Wireless internet access is also available through the whole building.
Patient success stories are truly inspirational. We have a great team of Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists working to help people reach their goals and return home quick as possible!
Long-term Care focus on providing a home-like environment and individualized plans of care for residents. Nurses and other care providers focus on providing multi-dimensional care consisting of mental, physical and emotional well-being.
Locked Memory Care provides special attention to individuals with memory loss or wandering. This wing provides residency for 18 people; private rooms may be available at an additional cost. Nursing staff are able to give specialized attention to each person in this quiet environment.
Memory care patients enjoy their meals in a comfortable dining room, also located on the care wing, with staff assistance. A day room with a pleasant view, cable television, daily scheduled activities and comfortable seating is a nice place to spend time during the day. Our newest feature is the gated memory care courtyard. Nurses working in this specialized wing have years of experience and many hours of training with Alzheimer’s and dementia. A community-based Alzheimer’s support group is available monthly, free of charge, to any person who would like to attend.
