Registered Nurse’s (RN) hold the largest responsibility in providing the oversite of each resident’s overall medical condition. Although they do not always provide direct resident care, they ensure that daily operations run smoothly.

What is a RN?

At Heritage of Foley RN’s are continuously completing resident’s assessments and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in carrying out each resident’s individualized plan of care. They provide the oversite to the scheduled floor LPN’s, TMA’s, and CNA’s. The main responsibilities for this position are: following up after a fall or incident occur, completion of skin checks, delegate tasks that are needing to be completed, administration of medications, applying physician ordered treatments, direct input to residents care plans, taking and recording vital signs, assessing of changes in residents conditions, updating physicians, and ensuring floor staff have support.
